Demand for social housing remains high, with 9000+ applicants currently registered for Stockport Homechoice. Fewer than 600 vacant properties are advertised each year, which can make it challenging for current tenants to secure a move via Homechoice. 

Mutual Exchange offers a choice-based alternative to the Homechoice route and is designed to support social housing tenants to find a suitable property swap with another tenant.
